I started taking beef bone broth because Mounjaro had been brilliant for weight loss, but I really felt like it was ageing me. My face was looking more gaunt and tired, and I wanted to add more nourishing, protein-rich foods back into my diet. I honestly wasn’t expecting to enjoy bone broth this much, but it’s absolutely delicious! It’s rich, savoury and comforting, and feels like a proper little treat rather than something I’m forcing myself to have because it’s “good for me”. I love that I’m getting a good hit of protein and collagen at the same time too. It’s become such an easy addition to my routine (I put it in almost anything I’m cooking eg pasta sauces, gravies, stir fries etc as well as making a drink with it) and, alongside making sure I’m eating enough protein, I definitely feel like I’m looking healthier and less drawn. Would absolutely recommend, especially to anyone on a GLP-1 who’s trying to keep their protein and nutrition up while losing weight.
