Paper – The paper we use is from sustainably managed forests from the Nordic regions. The forests are part of the FSC and PEFC stewardship programmes, which means for every tree felled at least one or more trees are regrown.
Cellulose – This is derived from wood pulp sustainably grown from PEFC managed forests.
Bio-polymer – This is derived from corn starch sourced from non-GMO feedstocks. -
UK Food Law means you have to label all allergen ingredients on the label in bold. The fact that PP doesn’t list any of the allergen ingredients on the labels (apart from FISH) means they don’t contain any of the other allergens. This Food Law precludes companies from having to hold Free From certs.

This really depends on the individual and what you are taking the products for. We would recommend using at least 1-2 pouches to see benefits and taking it on a regular long-term basis for best results.

The bone broth is more of a whole food option- this is where our ancestors would have got their collagen from, unfortunately most of us no longer have time to make it ourselves. It doesn't just contain collagen but an array of complementary nutrients including calcium, magnesium, hyaluronic acid, glucosamine and more. It's a great all-rounder for connective tissue support, and has a long history of use for gut and immune support. The savoury versions you can sip like a tea or add to soups, stews, sauces etc. The sports proteins can be used as you would use a protein powder.
The collagen products (pure/marine) contain just collagen, so they have a high amount of collagen, and it's hydrolysed which means it's broken down into a more absorbable form. Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body and makes up our hair/skin/nails, gut lining, joints, bones and more. Again it's a great all-rounder for overall health. They are virtually odourless and tasteless so you can add to just about anything making them pretty versatile. We also find people combine the collagen and bone broth if they need extra support. -
Bovine is 3000 Dalton; Marine is less than 2000 Daltons
-
Collagen is very heat stable, and can withstand up to around 300 degrees without denaturing the protein, so it's fine to have it in your hot drinks.
-
Try adding a small amount of liquid to your serving of the powder first and making into a paste before adding the rest of the liquid. Alternatively blend smoothly using a protein shaker, latte whisk, or adding to smoothies in a blender.
-
We can't recommend using our products during pregnancy and breastfeeding so you would need to check with your healthcare practitioner.
-
We have a specific Vegan collagen range, our MCT powder and oil are also vegan friendly.
-
Yes, the range is all gluten and dairy free.

All products are batch tested for heavy metals and other contaminants, ensuring the products are as pure and clean as possible.
-
The cattle are reared on pasture unless weather conditions are adverse. If necessary they are topped up in winter with hay, which is dried grass.
-
Our suppliers have certified that the raw materials comply with all legal requirements globally, and are sourced from healthy animals declared fit for human consumption after post-mortem inspection.
The World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) Terrestrial Animal Health Code states that gelatine of skins and hides are safe and our supplier has declared that all the hides used for the production of gelatine/collagen are sourced in countries or regions declared of negligible or controlled BSE risk following the classification system of the WOAH.
A TSE inactivation study commissioned by the Gelatine Manufacturers of Europe association (GME) in 2003 has scientifically proven that, in the unlikely event that BSE contaminated raw materials are used for the production of gelatine, this contamination could not be found back in the gelatine itself. The study was peer reviewed and published in Biotechnology (2004). The results have been accepted by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) and by the US FDA TSE Advisory Committee. -
Bone broth can be high in histamine, so it could trigger a reaction in those sensitive to it. Hydrolysed collagen itself is much lower in histamine so this doesn't generally tend to be a problem, so this may be an alternative product to try in cases of histmine intolerance/sensitivities.
Bone Broth
-
The entire heating process is around 36 hours from start to finish.
-
We recommend sipping like a nutritious tea, adding to soups and sauces, cooking wholegrains/veggies in, and for our sports proteins adding to shakes, smoothies, or even making pancakes.
-
Bone broth differs from stock in that it is simmered for much longer making available a whole host of nutrients. Many stocks you will find in the supermarket are made very quickly and you do not get the same nutrient density as bone broth. Bone broth is made by simmering animal bones in water over a lengthy cooking time. This process extracts nutrients from the bones so that they become part of the nourishing broth.
-
We source the highest quality raw materials, then we use steam heating to expedite the process and like any traditional method, we simmer the bones to extract the nutrients. It’s then simply evaporated and dehydrated creating a concentrated bone broth powder that is easy and convenient to rehydrate. We use no fillers or unnecessary additives in any stage of production, or the products themselves.
-
Our bone broth is crafted from the highest quality Organic grass-fed cattle in Scandinavia which are KRAV certified. KRAV is the gold standard for farming anywhere in the world, with extremely high standards for animal welfare, and upholds even stricter standards than EU regulation for Organic production.

-
No, it is simply spray dried using air pressure.
-
Absolutely, you can combine from the ranges for extra support and we find many of our customers like to do this.
-
No it doesn't, we do not add any MSG in any form. It naturally contains glutamic acid, but this is not the same as MSG.
-
We do not test for total mineral content, but trace levels are present in the bone broth.
-
Unfortunately not advisable as the liquorice powder is not DGL as there were no organic DGL liquorice options.

We use Ceylon cinnamon in these blends.
-
The vanilla powder is the result of grinding the whole vanilla bean, so includes the pods and seeds.
Bovine Collagen
-
The Pure and Marine Collagen are great all-rounders and contain the highest amount of collagen. If you are looking for a little extra support our collagen blends contain slightly less collagen, but other vitamins, minerals and herbs which work in synergy for specific needs. Primal Goddess is a beauty blend, Osteo Collagen targets bone health, Digestive Collagen is for gut support, and Active Collagen works for inflammation, joint support, and sports recovery.
-
We only source from farms that are on naturally formed pastures, and never from land that has been deforested.
-
We source from Argentina and every batch can be traced back to the original farm itself which are all 100% natural pasturelands. Most suppliers source from abattoirs with minimal to no traceability from where the animals originally came from. Our supply is 3rd party audited by LIAF control to ensure the highest standards.
-
The bovine collagen (and gelatine) are sourced from select farms in Argentina which employ traditional ranching methods, raising the cattle on grass and traditional pasture. This traditional system avoids the use of hormones, antibiotics and GMOs. The collagen is derived solely from grass-fed cattle.
-
There is very little difference: both are high in protein and rich in Type 1 collagen which is the most abundant collagen in the body (bovine also contains a little Type 3). The main difference is the source, and it’s down to personal preference which you prefer.
-
Yes, all products except gelatine and keto oil are halal certified by the Halal Certification Organisation
-
The collagen has been extracted and enzymatically hydrolysed to break it down into highly absorbable peptides, this is not an organic process, and as such you will find no collagen product on the market that is certified organic. It is certified grass fed and the animals are pasture raised.
Collagen
-
Whenever you find it convenient to use is the best time. You can use it in the morning for a good hit of protein to stabilise blood sugar levels, post-workout for repair and recovery, or in the evening for additional recovery overnight and liver support.
-
No, unfortunately we do not as the quantity of capsules you would have to take to get a good dose of collagen is pretty high so we find for most people the powder is a lot easier to use to get a high strength dose.
-
There are no suitable tests that can measurer glyphosate in collagen as the molecule is too similar to glycine. It essentially becomes part of the amino chain in the protein. This is a key reason why we source grass fed as there is no risk of it being sprayed.
Recent and past articles in print and on the web have speculated (but without analysis) that glyphosate could replace the amino acid glycine in collagen, the basis of gelatines and collagen peptides. Although there are no maximum residue limits (MRL) defined for glyphosate in gelatine or collagen according to Regulation (EC) 396/2005, our supplier sends samples of their gelatine and collagen peptides products to respected and accredited third party laboratories with global presence and reputation in trace chemical testing. All of these samples have come back with no detectable amount of glyphosate and as such are not at risk for any significant presence of glyphosate. -
Collagen is considered low in purine and also contains glycine, which is involved in a chain reaction that actually helps metabolise purine in the body, so it can be a helpful food to incorporate into your diet.
-
Yes, our collagen is hydrolysed, meaning we use an enzymatic process to break the gelatine into smaller, easily absorbable peptides. This process makes our collagen easy to digest and assimilate.
-
Our Bovine collagen is largely Type 1 with a small amount of Type 3. Our marine is solely Type 1.
-
Collagen is pure protein (over 90%); it contains no carbohydrates, sugar, or fats, so is suitable for low carbohydrate or ketogenic diets.
-
We make collagen ourselves, but from our twenties we start to make approximately 1% less each year, which is why we start to notice a difference in our skin, joints etc. as we age. The earlier we can introduce a source of collagen into our diets, the better.
-
Our pure and marine collagen are virtually odourless and tasteless, and will not change the texture of whatever they are added to, making them the perfect addition to hot or cold drinks, breakfast, or baking. Our collagen blends (except digestive) do contain some natural flavouring so work best just with some water, juice, or in a smoothie.

Gelatine
-
Our grass-fed collagen and gelatine are nutritionally very similar. They have similar amino acid profiles and protein content; both are virtually odourless and tasteless, making them extremely versatile. The main difference is in how you use the products: our collagen products will not gel in cool liquids; they mix well into hot or cold drinks and recipes. Our gelatine will gel in cold liquids so it is great as a thickener for soups and stews and to make cool culinary creations like healthy gummies, jelly and desserts.
-
No, the gelatine is not certified organic.
